In this project, I am creating my own packet sniffer using Python. A packet sniffer is a tool that intercepts and logs network traffic, allowing us to analyze and monitor the data being sent over a network. By developing our own packet sniffer in Python, we can gain a deeper understanding of network protocols, packet structures, and data manipulation. Through this project, I will demonstrate the step-by-step process of capturing network packets, extracting relevant information from them, and presenting it in a readable format. This will involve utilizing Python libraries such as Scapy, which provides powerful packet manipulation capabilities. By the end of this project, I will have a functioning packet sniffer that can be used for network analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
